Kiteboarding Lessons
We have designed our kiteboarding program to be accessible to people of ages 12+. Using a building-block approach, boat support, and the best instructors, we will get you riding in no time.
Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or advanced we have exceptionally friendly and talented instructors to take you to the next level. Recommended course duration 3 hours.
Wakeboarding/Knee Boarding Lessons: Excellent for working on your board skills! Students ride a board similar to a snowboard or skateboard while being towed behind the ski.
Private: $200hr / Semi-Private: $125hr PP
Surf Lessons
Beginner Surf Lessons: Learn the basics of surfing. Great for kids as young as 4 years old, and adults young at heart.
Private: $165hr / Semi $105hr PP / Grp $85hr PP
Guided Surfing: Have the waves to yourself when you surf with one of our guides, in the outer reef only accessible by boat. Includes surfboards and uncrowded surf breaks.
Per Boat: $400, Minimum 2 hour booking
Step Off Surfing: Surfing’s version of heli-skiing; Step Offs is truly an extraordinary experience. Assisted by a Jet Ski, Intermediate to Advanced surfers will catch wave after wave in our outer reef.
Per Ski: $300 p/hr
Foil Lessons
Wing Foil Lessons: With light and stable gear, learning to wingfoil is easy for adults, and kids as young as 10 years old. 2 Hour Activity
Private: $200hr / Semi $125hr PP
Tow Foil Lessons: Experience floating above the water on a foil board while being towed behind a jet ski.
Tow Foil Basics Private: $200 p/hr
Surf Outer Reef Private: $300 p/hr
Kite Foil Lessons: This is a great sport for you whether you’re a beginner OR you want to transfer your kiteboarding skills to the foil board.
Private: $200 p/hr I Semi $125 PP p/hr
Electric Hydro Foil: Feel the thrill of floating over water as you ride one of our Electric Foil Surfboards, a product made in Puerto Rico! No board riding experience is needed. Must be 16 yrs old plus.
$400 per Efoil – 2 Hour Activity
Stand-up Paddle Boarding Lessons
Learn the basics and enjoy the view, as you paddle down the coast of our Sardinera bay. Perfect activity for beginners, groups and kids ages 12 and up. Also available in double kayaks.
Private: $165hr / Semi $105hr PP / Group $85hr PP
Gear Rental:
Surfboard: $40 hr | Paddleboard: $50 hr

How many students per lesson?
Private: 1 Student per instructor
Semi-Private: 2 Students per instructor
Group: 3 Students per instructor
Sailing: Max 4 on one sailboat
Guided Surfing: Max 3 can be taken out on one boat
Who are the lessons available for?
All watersport lessons are exclusively available to Dorado Beach Resort Members & Ritz Carlton Guests.
What if I need to cancel a lesson?
Lessons can be canceled or changed free of charge until the day before the lesson by 5 PM. Cancellations made after this time or no-shows will be charged 100% of the value of the lesson.
What if there is no wind?
In the case the weather conditions are not appropriate to perform the selected activity, our staff will be in contact with you to cancel, reschedule or delay at no cost.
